(More customer reviews)After much review of various heaters, I purchased this one for its oscillating and two temperature features. These nice features did not make up for a cord shorting out and melting half of the plug after only two and a half weeks of use. From the moment I began using it, the heater cord would become hot to touch very quickly, but I foolishly kept using it in the mornings and evenings. My house has standard power outlets, and I did ran the product for short to moderate periods of time. I can only thank God that I was sitting beside the heater when it began to spark.
