(More customer reviews)I purchased this item for myself from a local vendor. I thought it would be great to keep my coffee warm while driving to work during the cold winter mornings. I tested at home by plugging it to my laptop and the mug which was cool to the touch only got as warm as room temp. Next I took it to the family desk top computer and finally to my car. Then just to prove it was useless I filled it with hot water and started the test all over again and it didn't keep the water any warmer than if i had just poured it into a regular travel mug. This product is a total ripoff. I am better off just running hot tap water into the mug to warm it up before pouring in my coffee.
I am so glad I only paid $10 for it.
