(More customer reviews)Buyer beware! This is a basic samovar for those who want a quick cup of tea available for 4+ hours. The tea pot for concentrate is of minimal quality. You will need a filter for your tea cup since there is no strainer in tea pot. Beware - this appliance is potentially dangerous because there is no thermostat to turn it off if water in main reservoir is boiled off. I let this happen once and overheating caused the power cord to fuse in socket so that it can no longer be removed. The unit still functions but I must be careful not to leave the water heater control on high. This is an electric samovar which is dangerous, but convenient, and somewhat overpriced. It should sell for about $39. For the price I paid I would expect better controls and higher quality metal work.
