That's right, there was a pillow in front of the heater. No fire. Yay!
I bought this a year ago for $15 from Walmart. It saves me from a cold bedroom during winter cuz the heat from the fire doesn't get to the bedroom. I don't notice anything on the electric bill. The thermostat works splendidly. I just set it and forget it.
