(More customer reviews)this is a small heater with digital display and variable temp setting. this heater works well in a small aquarium to maintain water temp indoors. very easy to use compact heater for submersed enviroment, always make sure to completely submerge this heater, and keep in well moving water like over an air stone. we use this heater in a ten(10) gal. aquarium with live plants and fish and neither seem to notice it. it keeps the temp at the set temp in a chilly room through winter and it has worked perfectly. it is always best to leave the heater in year round to prevent altering Ph, and to maintain the heater in a safe place. the suction cups that come with this item works well and the rubber insulation/padding provide excelent protection from minor bumps during installation.
