(More customer reviews)I have gone through a few name brand heaters and have always had problems with the temperature - one time the temp went up to 90 degrees and another time it just quit working! This one displays the temperature digitally, and the actual water temperature is very consistent. I've used it for several months now and waited to write a review to be sure I would be happy over the long haul. It does have a separate wire for the temperature which is separate from the heating unit, so you will have an extra wire to hide in the tank. The clip that holds the digital display could be a bit thicker, but holds it OK. It does just what it says it will do and I am satisfied with my purchase.
