(More customer reviews)The build quality is great, but it is louder than most heaters and the thermostat will never shut off the heating element even at the lowest setting. The noise isn't outrageous, but it's definitely on the loud side compared to other forced-air heaters I've used. As for the thermostat, this probably wouldn't be a problem on a very cold night or in a large room. In my small room on a mildly chilly night, however, the heater remains on even when the dial is on the lowest setting. I was roasting. Too bad. The build quality seems really solid, and it comes with a three-year warrantee.

A smart money-saving alternative to heating the entire home, this energy-efficient space heater features a self-regulating system that maintains a comfortable room temperature by automatically cycling between high and low settings. Its front-access thermostat-control knob allows for adjusting the temperature as desired. Choose "low" (750 watts) for soothing, consistent warmth, or turn it all the way up to "high" (1500 watts) for heating a room quickly. The thoughtfully designed fan-forced heater pulls cool room air in through the top and, since heat rises, distributes warm air out from the lower front panel, at floor level, helping to ensure thorough, all-over heat distribution. Place the versatile unit under a desk when working on the computer or next to a couch when curled up with a book. It can even be positioned next to a wall for out-of-the-way convenience. Other highlights include an illuminated power switch, automatic overheat protection, a 360-degree tip-over safety switch, and a lightweight portable design for effortless transport from room to room. The ETL-listed air-flow heater measures approximately 7-2/7 by 11-4/5 by 15 inches and carries a three-year limited warranty.
