(More customer reviews)I bought this heater for my motorhome. I have a big furnace that runs on propane,but sometimes I want to use the electric heater rather than the propane. Many campgrounds include electric with the camping rent, so this is a better deal all around on chilly mornings.
This little jewel is toasty warm and heats up rather quickly. I placed this under my table where I was sitting and typing. It made my feet toasty warm, then worked fast to warm up the motorhome.
It is easy to move around, as the handle is cool to the touch. I like the safety feature, it's actually a spring loaded button on the bottom. It makes the heater shut down, if you pick it up or heaven forbid should trip over it.
It draws 12.5 amps, and most household plugs are 15 amps, so try not to overload your circuit with too much stuff. This heater is whisper quiet, a huge advantage. Also it doesn't light up the room every time it turns on, so it's useful at night. It won't wake you up with bright red coils, like the traditional electric heaters can.
